RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Every student should bring school Diary daily.
2. He/She will note the class/Home Work in each subject done at school for the parent's reference and knowledge.
3. Student will not tear any page from the school Diary or spoil it in any way.
4. The warning bell is a signal for all to go for Morning Assembly. This should be done in complete silence.
5. After the morning assembly all the students should get his/her books ready for first period.
6. All students should be habitually clean and dressed neatly. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days in the school. A student who is slovenly dressed may be turned out of the class-room or even sent home.
7. Care must be taken to guard all school property and no pupil should scratch or spoil the desks and chairs or furniture, write or draw anything on the wall, in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal. Any such damage will have to be made good by the student who does it.
8. The school is not responsible for articles or money lost.
9. No books (other than text books) and magazines are to be brought to the school.
10. All correspondence addressed to pupil is subject to scrutiny by the Principal.
11. Running, playing, shouting and whistling inside the school premises is strictly prohibited.
12. Silence must be observed throughout the school hours and moving from one class room to another.
13. The students are forbidden to throw anything at anyone.
14. The students are expected to co-operate with the school authorites in maintaining cleanliness by making use of dustbins provided at various places in school campus.
15. Parents or guardians are requested not to walk in to class-rooms or interview teachers during class hours. They can contact the teacher on second Saturday every month at 1.15 in summer and 2.15 in winter.
16. Students should get their report books signed by their parents or guardians within the time prescribed and return the same to the teacher.
17. The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly written on his/her belongings.
18. No pupil can leave the school premises during school hours or in the recess period without the prior permission of the Principal.
19. The students should behave in a refined manner wherever they go. They should always keep in mind that the school is judged by their behaviour and performance. They should always greet their teachers, elders and friends wherever they meet inside or outside the school.
20. The students are not allowed to receive visitor or to make phone calls during school hours unless the matter is very urgent and has the approval of the Principal.
21. If a student does not improve his/her conduct inspite of repeated warnings, his/her name will be struck off the school rolls.
22. Parents are requested not to withdraw their wards from the classes for mere social function, for it retards their progress and leads to backwardness in studies.
23. Any special tendency noted in the child at home should at once be brought to the notice of the school authorities.
24. Students who come to school under the care of a servant should not leave before the servant arrives. In case of delay, they should report the school office. Those who go home alone should not loiter about on the way, they should be prompt in returning straight to their homes, Students are warned not to buy eatables from street vendors.
25. The school authorities reserve the right of expelling any pupil who, for any reason, is deemed unworthy. In such cases, the Principal is not bound to give any reason.
26. Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited in the school.
27. Students must form a queue when they intend to see the Principal. and also paying dues at accounts office or while getting into the bus.
28. If any student/parents have any complaint against any teacher/teachers, see the principal, concerned teacher should not be criticised directly.
29. One month's notice is required in case a child is to he withdrawn from the school or will have to pay one month's fee.
30. No student will be allowed to appear in the annual examination without having his/her all dues cleared.
31. Students are strictly advised to drive motorised vehicles with valid licence, as required by law.
32. Note that vehicles of staff and students within the school premises will not be allowed to exceed the speed limit of 20 kmph.
33. Students driving geared two wheelers need to obtain vehicles pass from the school. Only then they will be allowed to park their two wheelers in the school campus.
34. No one is allowed to drive the two wheelers in the school campus.



CORPORAL PUNISHMENT

Corporal punishment has been withdrawn generally but the Principal reserves the right to impose such punishment in the best interests of the student and in maintaining the school discipline

Fines:-

The school authority is not interested in imposing fines on the students but under unfavourable circumstances and adverse conditions the school will be compelled to impose special fines:-
1. To damage the school property knowingly or by an accident.
2. To quarrel with fellow beings and create indiscipline in the school.
3. To misbehave with the teachers and fellow beings.
4. To use vulgar language.
5. To bring mobile phones in the school.
6. To remain absent from the school without leave application duly signed by Parents.
7. For not appearing in the Unit. Test and Terminal Examinations without prior sanction of the Principal.
8. Not attending Parents Teachers Meeting along with parents / Guardian.
9. Not wearing the Prescribed uniform.
Fine will depend upon the nature of mischief done and maximum fine upto Rs. 500/- can be imposed.
